Welcome, Fall

It’s official, the first day of Autumn has come and gone and the cooler weather has started to hit. So we’ve gone ahead and prepared and pulled a few looks and must have items to help you transition into our favourite fashion season, Fall.

This light, oatmeal coloured Fillipa K wrap is the perfect transition piece! Light enough to wear now, warm enough to wear until the snow starts to fall. We’ve paired this jacket with a beautiful new two-tone Krista Norris Co. scarf – because just like you, we love supporting local!

Are you a Filippa K lover? Scroll down to see what other new goods we have in store!

But remember, a Fall look is never complete without jewelry! Here is just a sample of our new (Canadian made) Wolf Circus jewelry now in store!

Looking for even more Fall fashion inspiration? Visit us in store and talk to a shop gal (we love giving fashion advice!) or follow us on Instagram @vamboutique for daily photo updates of beauty Fall looks and new arrivals!

Earthy, Meet Elegant

Give the gift of arm (and neck) candy this summer with this colorful collection of bracelets and necklaces. Created by Danna Kobo, Shashi is a line of unique, globally inspired fine jewelry that’s accessible, made to be worn and enjoyed by a wide variety of individuals.
Drawing on the beauty and cultures of exotic destinations around the globe, Shashi is earthy and raw, yet incredibly sophisticated and elegant. Sterling silver and gold vermeil beads combine with soft braid-able cord to create easy-to-wear bracelets that look particularly beautiful worn in pairs.
Handcrafted in New York, Shashi’s chic, flirty bracelets and necklaces are thoughtfully designed. The materials used range from gemstone, sterling silver, 14K plating, crystals, cotton and silk to create a luxe, one-of-a-kind look.

Believe us when we say that this line is perfect for stacking, giving and loving! We’re more than happy to welcome Shashi to the collection of goods available here at VAM.

A Matter of Time

A brand that VAM boutique keeps turning to for distinctive timepieces is La Mer designed by Martine Ilana. When seeking inspiration for her collections, season after season, she turns to different travel destinations worldwide. This Spring/Summer was all about Cape town, South Africa, for eclectic combinations. By browsing through the look book, one can see why. Specific locations were emphasized such as the ocean, statues of volcanic rocks, bustling marketplaces as well as lush greenery found in the jungles.

Not only do they have unique designs, but a different approach to a watch in general. La Mer considers it as a “a private piece of art inspired by adventure”. Their less-is-more philosophy allows for a variation in the designs. Pop by VAM in order to change your opinion of what a watch should be.
